Hello there! My name is
Andrew
Cupps
I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland studying to help shape our future through innovation and research.
> About Me
I am a student at the University of Maryland currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science double major in
Computer Science and Astronomy. I enjoy studying data science, machine learning, internationalization,
and cosmology.
This past summer (2023), I had the amazing opportunity to work at
Google
as a STEP Intern on the internationalization (i18n)
libraries team by contributing to ICU4X, an open-source i18n library
written in Rust with a focus on efficiency and reduced binary size to improve accessibility from low-resource environments.
Recently, I've been working with the following languages:
  -  Rust
  -  C
  -  Java
  -  JavaScript
  -  Python
  -  R
When not working on projects or studying, I am interested in soccer, baking bread, history, and
urban planning.
